ALL OF THE PAPER THAT MADE UP THE WEDDING.

Save the Date Magnets

Picture
The picture is a little blurry...but you get the idea. I made these on VistaPrint. They sent me an email for FREE MAGNETS today so I took advantage of it! It cost me $20 with shipping and the photo uploads for 50 of them. I thought this was a great deal! They are super cute! I am working on the Save the Date postcards (also FREE) tonight, so I will upload that when I finish it! I'm going to attach the magnet with a little glue dot from hobby lobby.

Save the Date Postcards

Picture
Again, I just picked a template that VP already had. I paid extra to add 2 pictures and white envelopes. I got 100 for free, I paid $14.50 for shipping. The entire order cost me $24.00. Both the magnets and the post cards will be in by May 18th so I plan to have them sent out by the 20th. I know I waited a little late, but I still wanted to send them! :)

After wedding update: The magnets were a HUGE hit! People LOVED them!

The Envelopes

Picture
I bought these blue envelopes online and you can read more about the Damask Wrap Around Label in the "WEDDING" tab.

PS- Budget HIGH for the cost of stamps...I was caught WAY off guard because I didnt budget high enough because we ended up sending out WAY more invites than we planned. This is something you need to speak with BOTH moms about. Have a concrete number or list before you budget for stamps!

Dont forget to RSVP!

Picture
I was determained to have a FUN RSVP card! This is what I came up with. It's a post card, this is the front.

Back of the RSVP Card

Picture
Here is the back of the RSVP post card! We had a little competition to see who would be the most creative!

I LOVED receiving these in the mail!

After wedding update: They were a huge hit! It was something "different" that people didnt expect and liked!

Rehearsal Dinner

Picture
These were Postcards from VP as well. Super cheap. I used their own format and just filled in the info. Our Rehearsal was a LOT of fun! We had it at Razzoo's which is a cajun place. We had the entire outside deck to ourselves to drink and laugh and play. It was wonderful!

And then on the back....

-For folks invited to the rehearsal dinner, I just included it in their wedding invite. Worked wonderfully!

On the back I wrote a cute little poem...because our goofy friends and family expect me to do something goofy like this! :)

The ADVICE Card -A MUST

Picture
I made these on VP for SUPER cheap. I just created it myself and had it printed. This was probably one of my favorite parts about things we took home from this experience! We put them on a cocktail table with extra pens and and treasure chest for completed ones. I cannot tell you how many hours we have spent laughing over these! It's a MUST!

Photo Share Cards

Picture
I got an email from VistaPrint that gave me 250 Free Premium Business Cards! (I suggest signing up for their emails) All I had to pay was shipping. Sometimes it looks a little blurry...it's just the picture that I'm using. Since our wedding colors include aqua; I picked this design. I filled in my info and PRESTO- Ordered. I chose super slow delivery to keep my cost down ($13.00) so I wont receive them for 21 days. I will post an update then! I plan on putting some of them on the tables and some of them with the Thank You cards.

**AFTER WEDDING UPDATE: The cards were cute, we scattered them around the tables but no one uploaded anything to the website.

Menu

Picture
I got an email from VistaPrint offering free rack cards, so I used them to create our menus. I got 50 for free, we have 100 place settings; so I am putting one on every other setting. I paid a little less than $5 for shipping and that was it! :) Gotta LOVE VP!

Direction Yard Sign

Picture
I ordered 12 of these from VistaPrint while they were discounted. The color is not in our color scheme, but I couldnt find anything I liked and didnt have the patience to create my own. I wanted something simple and to the point. I thought these were pretty and they will stand out well enough. Some of them have wording that says "Keep Going" under our name; and others have arrows for turning directions. I ordered these with the Photo Share cards (combined shipping was only $13.00). Even with a discount these were about $5 a piece. I will update after I receive them!

**AFTER WEDDING UPDATE: Check your surrounding areas! Beau put ours out that morning (10pm) and by the time we all started heading that way around 1pm someone had taken them all down! I was furious!

Thank You Cards

Picture
I ordered these from Vista Print for FREE from an email they sent me. They were just folded note cards that I designed myself. The inside had a personal message from us on the bottom half and I hand wrote our "thanks" on the top part. The bad part was that I didnt order enough and had to go back and order more (without my free coupon) and they cost me $40. :/

The Hands Ceremony Reading

*This was my favorite part of our ceremony. I took this reading and kind of made it our own. It gave our mothers a true piece of our wedding to remember....it took A LOT of reading for them not to cry! They did a great job the day of! It was really special for me and I will remember it always!

The Hands of the Bride and Groom

Groom's Mother reads:

Amanda, please face Beau, and hold his hands, palms up, so you may see the gift that they are to you. (Bride and groom should be facing each other, the groom’s upturned hands resting in the brides’.)
These are the hands, young and strong and vibrant with love, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as he promises to love you all the days of his life.
These are the hands that look so large and clumsy, yet will be so gentle as he holds your baby for the first time.
These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness.
These are the hands that will countless times wipe the tears from your eyes: tears of sorrow and tears of joy.
These are the hands that will tenderly lift your chin and brush your cheek as they raise your face to look into his eyes: eyes that are filled completely with his overwhelming love and desire for you.

Bride's Mother reads:

Beau, please hold Amanda’s hands, palms up, where you may see the gift that they are to you. (Bride should now place her upturned hands in the Groom’s hands.)
These are the hands, smooth, young, and carefree, that are holding yours on your wedding day, as she pledges her love and commitment to you all the days of her life.
These are the hands that will hold each child in tender love, soothing them through illness and hurts, supporting and encouraging them along the way, and knowing when it’s time to let go.
These are the hands that will hold you tight as you struggle through difficult times.
They are the hands that will comfort you when you are sick or console you when you are grieving. These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years, for a lifetime of happiness.
These are the hands that will give you support as she encourages you to chase down your dreams. Together, as a team, everything you wish for can be realized.

Preacher reads:

Dear Father, bless the hands that you see before you this day. May they always be held by one another. Give them the strength to hold on during the storms of stress and the dark of disillusionment. Keep them tender and gentle as they nurture each other in their love.
Help these hands to continue building a relationship founded in your grace, rich in caring, and devoted to reaching for your perfection. May Amanda and Beau see their four hands as healer, protector, shelter, and guide.
We ask this in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who lives and reigns with you now and forever. Amen.
